Default $1000 to the best Business thread for July!
This business forum is for business topics. General conversation should be kept in the Off-Topic forum.

On August 1st, TMM will vote on the best business thread of July and we'll award the topic starter $1000.

The response to the thread, the helpfulness of it, the content, the participation, etc. will all factor in.

Anything related to the industry is fine. Discuss price points for paysites, which processors to use, TGP vs. CJ, how to get a high PR, best way to blog, what can you use RSS feeds for, how to edit videos best, where to get good traffic, revshare vs. pps, etc.

Anything will count and we'll pick the best and award the starter $1000!

edit: This thread may be in any of the industry forums. It doesn't have to be in the general forum. It can be in the freesite, paysite, etc. forums also.

Indeed, shame there has to be an "incentive" (and quite a big one I may add ah), but its all for a Greater Good (spoken in a non-GWB way!!)

Whats going on guys? The contest was for posts made in July, it is Dec now and no winner has been announced. I am not posting this because I am hoping to win, you can disqualify me from the competition (I know posts like this wouldn't earn me any points anyway lol.) .

The reason why I am posting about this is because I think it is shitty that you didn't follow through with this. It certaintly didn't help the site any. Even though you didn't get many entries into the contest, if you would have followed through with it promptly it would have gotten the attention of others and you would have gotten new people over here. Instead it shows a lack of committment by your part to build the site and i am sure people like myself said the hell with it, If they going to give a shit about the site why should we post there then. I ran a contest a few months ago for $500. I had a small response and to be honest it sucked but I still gave away the money.

Also as an advertiser at the time I spent money based on the fact the site would be at least trying to grow, not be a 1 month wonder.

I know this site is on the bottom of the priority list, but after 5 months don't keep saying you "we forgot about it", it is apparent you felt the contest didn't yield the results you wanted and you just don't want to pay the money.
